The SupAbilities Team

Jason Rosenberg, Founder and Owner
Jason Rosenberg is the Founder and Owner of SupAbilities, a leading autism waiver provider in Maryland. His career began as a Para Educator in a specialized behavioral program, sparking a passion for supporting individuals with autism. He went on to earn a Master’s in Special Education and advanced certifications in Educational Leadership, serving as both a teacher and Behavioral Specialist. These roles deepened his expertise in developing strategies that foster independence and improve quality of life for individuals with autism. Through SupAbilities, Jason is committed to empowering individuals and families by delivering high-quality autism waiver services. His mission is to embrace abilities, promote independence, and build inclusive communities where people with autism are valued and supported.

Barbara Delsack, Communication Specialist
Barbara S. Delsack is the Communication Specialist for SupAbilities with more than 30 years of experience serving the autism community. She began her career with Maryland Public Schools in 1993 as a speech-language pathologist and member of the InterACT Assistive Technology Team, where she advanced communication access for nonverbal students. In addition to her work in schools, Barbara has taught as an adjunct professor at Montgomery College, George Washington University, and Johns Hopkins University. A Certified Autism International Network trainer, she has presented internationally on autism, communication, and assistive technology. Her contributions have been recognized with numerous awards, including the Distinguished Service Award from the National Council on Communication Disorders. Passionate about giving a voice to those who cannot communicate traditionally, Barbara has created programs that foster communication, social connection, and lifelong skills, including inclusive initiatives like a differentiated Book Club for Montgomery County Public Libraries.
